of past mistakes, failures, the way I had always done things and the way I thought about my life. It also meant stretching and getting really uncomfortable in the process as I sold my house, quit my job, moved to another state and hit the “reset” button on how I wanted to live. But, the energy I’ve experienced by living life in this new way (by design rather than default)… opened my eyes to these truths: 1) turning back is NOT an option 2) sharing the transforming power of growth with other people is my passion!
Reinventing myself meant letting go…
because creating a growth environment for ourselves and others doesn’t “just happen.” Why? Because accepting status quo is… well, easier. To varying degrees we all gravitate toward comfort; personally and professionally. Comfortable feels safe. But safety is the enemy of growth. It keeps us stuck and living small. For me, taking intentional steps in my own growth has led to becoming a keynote speaker, training leaders internationally, meeting leaders from around the world, publishing my book and most importantly, pouring into the lives of people so they can discover their “something more.” Because where the real magic happens … is watching others take intentional action to grow on the inside so they can excel on the outside!
